Panoramique Valcros

The Clos Gautier is nestled on the hillside of Carcès, at the heart of the Green Provence. It gains from a typical clay limestone soil that set the framework for beautiful wines.

Clos Gautier has been created in 2003 with an average of 35 years old vinyard. The progress of this wonderful domain has been recognized by many medals for each wine, attesting the serious of the cellar work ant the quality of its soil.

In July 2011, Gilles Pedini has become the owner of Clos Gautier. Originating from Nice for more than ten generations, Provence lover, very fond of wine.

He relies on new team headed by Paul Zussini, cellar master and manager, and supported by Christophe Bernard as oenologist advisor, who has acquired a famous reputation for producing top quality of Rosés of Provence since 20 years. All of that to take another step-in wine quality and to make of clos Gautier one of the “must” of Côtes de Provence.

Our efforts and investments (grubbin’up and replanting quality plants on 7 ha, creating of Cuvée Oser, new look for the bottles for the year 2019, greater rigour in the outside work and vinifications, minimizing our environmental footprint) are now recognized by our customers and guests.

We are references in best wine shops and restaurants.

In addition, The Clos Gautier has also been rewarded for its efforts towards the environnment, carried out for several years, with the achievement in 2020 of the HVE3 certification and the transition to renewable energy (100% of the electricity consumed comes from renewable energy).

From the 2024 vintage, the Clos Gautier is certified organic..
